Raised in Orillia, I now call Oshawa home. I am a self taught artist who at the age of 16 painted her first oil painting and started selling the same year.
I now specialize in oil painted woodburnings working mainly with wildlife and pet portraits but I also work with old country theme projects, portraits of your home,cottage, children and even your cars.
I work from my home where I also teach woodburning and work mainly on custom orders.

Your portrait is wood burned onto hardwood plaques that have router-ed edges.
The image is taken from your snapshots then carefully burned on the wooden
plaque. The oil colours are sealed with many coats of UV Ray protective coating
to protect your art piece for colour fastness.
For lasting beauty the painting should be protected from direct sunlight and
not exposed to extreme heat or moisture.
Also available by custom order are house and cottage car and truck, birds, wild
animals and scenery.

I have since started a new type of custom orders that are painted onto canvas. The picture on the left is the painting and the picture on the right is the photograph that the painting is done from.
