The first four photos were from the 1999 WinterFest at Mel Lastman Square under frigid temperatures.
The next two photos were from the 2000 Whitby Carnival in downtown Whitby under hot and sunny skies.
I haven't seen them publicly since November 2000 but hopefully, we'll meet again soon...whenever that maybe.
Did you know that before being "Tansy" on Treetown, Kathleen LeRoux attended Queen's University and directed at Theatre Kingston?
Currently, Kathleen's whereabouts can be at Second City in Toronto, as a personal trainer to student improvs. She also does some "clown" duties on shows. Denise's whereabouts is currently unknown. I haven't seen these two ladies since November 2000 when they were part of a Santa Claus parade in Toronto. Treehouse has also discontinued their sponsorship with this annual parade that takes place every third Sunday in November.
One funniest moment happened on February 13, 1999, when they made their live on stage debut (photos shown above). Not knowing how cold the weather was, when singing their final song, they were distracted by a sudden gust of wind. What's worse was they didn't wear their coats. (Bad example for the kids that love them.)
Another moment would have to be where Tansy didn't want to go and watch what Rosabelle was doing.....then she had to admit that she had to pee and took off. (Was part of the skit anyways.)
Tansy went almost a little too far taking it off....and almost off again, until Rosabelle told her to only take off her "play" clothes in a race.
If you watch some certain episodes of "Treetown Shorts", listen to it very carefully. You'll be able to hear faint voices of the show's director from the production room.
