COMMENTS: It could have been either, however with the amount of documentation here, with regard to ufos at eclipses, it could have also been something other than spots on the film.

QUOTES:"A great luminous object, or a meteor, that was seen at the time of the eclipse...as if to make the date of the eclipse more memorable.

COMMENTS: Meteors must be of a certain size and luminosity to be seen during eclipses and for them to show up at exactly the right time...well...that's a different matter altogether...
