CYNTHIA VIGNOS... COMMITTED TO CANTON'S FUTURE I'm running for city council because I believe our city deserves leaders with a realistic vision of what can be accomplished. As your at-large representative, I will work hard to improve the quality of life in Canton. I will use my training in conflict resolution, creative problem-solving and group diversity to address the many challenges facing our city.
I've lived here for most of my life, but I don't want to simply reminisce about the past. Canton needs creative, forward-thinking leaders who are looking toward the future rather than relying on outdated concepts that aren't working.
Like so many of you, I was ANGRY when Forbes Magazine labeled Canton a "dying city" because I know this isn't true. Canton is facing the same challenges as most cities that were built upon manufacturing but I believe that (working together) we can bring about positive change!
