Not to start like some cheesy mystery novel, but the hype in this town was
unbelievable for about a week until radiohead finally showed their faces here
in London. they came here a few years earlier and playeds at call the office,
so of course they went there the night before, and shit i heard some rumours
about that night. but i wasnt there so im gonna shuttup and go on with the
review. me and leia waited outside centenial hall all day to get a good spot at
the show, its funny cuz mike clive was like towel boy or something. he-he.
(LOOK HOW YOU RATE IN THE REAL WORLD, ASSHOLE) people cam throughout the day
often, to wait in line, friends of ours who showed up were a little scary
becuz they were freaked out at seeing thom york downtown and in arbys. when
the tour bus came by, of course everyone (including myself...i regret nothing,
stop laughing) ran around back to greet the bands. around 7:00 the doors
came open, oh yeagh, and i have to tell you a hilarious story! this will only
take a second, around 6:59, leia starts freaking out becuz she cant find her
ticket, she starts crying her eyes out and everyone i nlines staring at her,
she walked up and down the line looking for it, and hit her head hard on this big
pointy sign, so finally, i go to her, "is it in yr sock?" Needless to say, she
found her ticket and got in. i find her ticket for her and the bitch still has
the nerve to steel the front row spot, while im stuck behind her eating hair.
so yeagh, teenage fanclub was first. they played well, as most bands do, but
i, well i dont really like them. in fact i pretty much cant stand them. i think
theyre pretty boring (as most bands are)so yeagh, i was happy when they got off
stage. radiohead were amazing! they had this wicked light show! the lighting
and special effects perfectly suited every song. it was great! i know they did
creep, how could you forget? they also did planet telix, the bends, and oh
fuck they were great!!!!!!!! they played for about an hour or so, but there were
all these stupid moshers who kept jumping on me. thom told them to stop, and i
think he was getting really annoyed. but they said theyd come back anyway.
