Darin Keech

Darin Keech is Singer, Songwriter, Acoustic Guitar, Harmonica player for the Band of Humans from New London, CT. Since graduating from Eastern Connecticut State University, Darin Keech has been a self- employed contractor specializing in home restoration. This has allowed him to pursue his passion in music and sailing. In 1992 he sailed transatlantic aboard the Schooner Nina. In Europe, he performed for 6 months in high school classrooms, colleges and pubs. He then produced a televised documentary video about this experience, inspiring much interest from the press. Through Band of Humans, Darin finds a creative outlet for his personal ideals and concepts.

Recently, Darin wrote a Play, "The Common Itch," a musical story expressed through live music, acting and dance. It was performed Februray of 2002 at the Donald Oat Theater and at the Bradley Theater in Putnam in July. Read more about the Play.
