Downtown Disney Market Place is a great place to go shopping and eat. The Shops are open all day & late into the night.
Downtown Disney Westside: Located By Pleasure Island, this new addition to downtown disney is similiar to pleasure island and the market place! It has two clubs, The House Blues and Bongo's Cuban Cafe. Westside is home of Disney Quest. Want to see a movie? Then Go To AMC Theaters! There Also is 8 shops. A Magnet shop, guitar shop, virgin megastore, and more.
Discovery Island: You may have never heard of this place? It is a zoo! It's kind of like a small animal kingdom. It's a nice place to relax from the parks, it is cheap too. Childs are $6.20 and adults are $11.40. The Park is ussualy open from 10 A.M. to 6 or 7 PM. You have to take a boat to it becuase it is on a islnad in the Bay Lake. There isn't much to eat there, just a snack bar.
Pleasure Island: This Place is for Dancing! There are several themed clubs, music, and 8 shops. A Mid-Night it's like new years, i mean new-day!
Boardwalk: Right next to the Boardwalk resort is the Boardwalk. Home of the ESPN Club , Atlantic Dance, and Jelly Rolls. There is a wyland gallery there too.
Disney Quest: This Virtual Theme park is a another great place to have fun after going to one of the parks! There is a lot of cool virtual acivities here. It is located in dowtown disney westside.
Tennis Courts: Some resorts have tennis courts. If you would like to reserve a court at the swan & dolphin call 1-407-934-4396. If you would like to reserve a court at the grand floridian or the contemporary then call 1-407-824-3578. A court can be reserved one year before you actually go.
Golf: There are 5 golf courses in walt disney world. Joe Lee designed the Palm, Lake Buena Vista, and the Magnolia Golf Course. Other courses are the Osprey Ridge and the Eagle Pines course. To get more info call 1-407-WDW-GOLF.
Wide World of Sports: This sport complex hosts a lot of sporting events. This is the home of The Alanta Braves for spring training. Call 1-407-839-3900 to buy tickets.
Fantasia Gardens: Up for a game of miniature golf? This is a good place to go after a day at the parks. It usally open late. For more info call 1-407-560-8760.
