A Painted Pastel Princess

Paint me pastel,
colour me lightly,
evoke happiness from the depths of my soul with pinks and blues and yellows and greens.
Bright and joyous, away from darkness, sadness, fear, and hatred.

Paint me pastel,
replace sorrow with joy, dark with light, pain with pleasure, and let me live on without fear,
leave my innocence uncorrupted.

Paint me pastel,
with sugar coated lies,
empty half truths,
keeping me ignorant and happy in a blissful paradise
seperate from evil and anger, only feeling joy and contentment,
no longer being human, no longer being alive without sadness to accompany
the everlasting happiness, without pain to interrupt the pleasure.
Let me die inside, intelligence fade away into a blissful state of horror.

-PaintPastelPrincess

Pain and pleasure, happiness and sorrow, together
again in my heart creating stability and sanity in my mind.
