CAMPSITE AT LODGE SITE:
There is space for campers and tents to camp at the lodge site.
There is no water, electrical or sewage hook-ups available.
Outdoor washroom facilities will be made available as well as limited
indoor facilities inside the lodge. There is a nightly fee for campers, however,
tents are free.
** NO PETS ALLOWED ON LODGE
PROPERTY**
MEALS:
There are no meals included in your registration fee.
The Lodge features a large outdoor grill that is available for use 24/7
under a gazebo style enclosure. We
are in the process of acquiring a caterer to offer a ‘snack bar’ style
service inside the Lodge which will be accessible most of the weekend.
SHUTTLE SERVICE:
A shuttle service will be made available to all motels along the main
corridor. A small fee system has
yet to be set up, yet we would like to eliminate any concerns for anyone wishing
to ‘enjoy a few’.
SWIMMING:
The Lodge site features a beach with swimming area.
At this time we are planning to have a qualified lifeguard during
specific times. Otherwise swimmers
will be responsible for their own safety. (NO MOTORIZED EQUIPMENT ALLOWED)
CANYON BUS TOUR: The
Canyon Bus Tour is scheduled for Sunday and departure time is tentatively set
for 10 a.m. from the Lodge. There
will be a short lunch stop in Smooth Rock Falls (each pays their own). There will be an approximate 2 hour stay in the Canyon.
Feel free to bring along snacks and refreshments.
Don’t forget to pack your camera….and bug spray.
At this time, access down into the dam is NOT permitted.
As stated above the fees to
take the Canyon Bus Tour are $30/person or $50/couple
You may register for this on
your registration form and we ask that you send separate payment for this as
payments will not be processed until we have enough to cover the costs of the
trip. If there is insufficient
interest in the tour, it will be cancelled.
Seating will be on a first come first served basis.
Seating will be permitted as payments are received.
We are hoping that we can get a listing online of confirmed names so that
you may see how the Canyon Bus Tour is
coming along and who else is planning to attend.
T-SHIRTS / SOUVENIRS: Short
Sleeve and Long Sleeve T-shirts and other souvenirs will be available to
purchase. Samples and order forms
will be made available online as soon as we confirm our supplier.
VOLUNTEERS:
As the reunion approaches, it is now time to think of adding to our group
of volunteers. The more volunteers
we can get to do small tasks, the more time there will be for ALL volunteers to
enjoy the reunion as well. No task
is too small and any time you could share would be greatly appreciated.
We will post a “Volunteers Needed” listing online.
If you have any ideas of how you can help whether it be in set up or an
activity please do not hesitate to contact us.
DESIGN A ‘BUG HAT’
CONTEST: Remember
those stylish ‘BUG HATS’ that were an absolute necessity to our wardrobes?
They were as common as snowshoes and parkas. We’d like you to design a ‘BUG HAT’ and bring it to the
reunion. There will be
judging and prizes for the best designs. Remember,
the purpose of the bug hat is to ‘shield the head/face from the ‘black
flies’ as well as allow us to enjoy our daily outdoor activities.
So start designing now and we
look forward to seeing your creations.
WALL OF MEMORIES:
We are planning to create a 'Wall of Memories'
which will be created by photos that are compiled between now and the reunion.
