Salsas and Dips
Mozzarella and Grape Salsa
2 cups finely shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup red seedless grapes
1 cup green seedless grapes
1/2 cup chopped pecans (toasted)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (toasted)
1/4 cup honey mustard salad dressing
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Combine everything and mix well.
Spicy Avocado Salsa
1 avocado (peeled, pitted, and diced)
1 mango (peeled, seeded, and diced)
4 firm ripe tomatoes (diced)
1 large jalapeno pepper (seeded and diced)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
1/4 cup fresh sweet basil (chopped)
1/4 cup minced garlic
1/4 cup green onion (chopped)
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. lemon or lime juice
3 tbsp. vinegar and oil salad dressing
Combine everything and mix well.
BLT Dip
1 pound bacon (fried, drained, and crumbled)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
2 firm, ripe tomatoes (peeled and diced)
1/2 cup fresh sweet basil (chopped)
2 tbsp. white sugar
Combine everything and mix well.
