The TTC's last group of second-hand cars -- represented here by 4760 -- came from Kansas City in 1957. Because the management in KC didn't like standee windows, their post-war PCCs (including this 1946 St. Louis product) had the taller side windows of the pre-war air-electrics. This stretch of St. Clair Avenue just east of Wells Hill has changed since August, 1966; today the entrance ramp to the underground streetcar loop at St. Clair West station occupies this spot.
