You might think that this is the exact same thing that Trad has, but his is a Dikshionary and this is a list of definitions. Totally different. Plus on his page it's hammer time.

I had a dictionary on my old site, but that was high school and who says rad anymore? Actually, I do. And I didn't really in high school. I'm bringing it back.

So since Trad's site says more definitions are coming soon, good luck with hitting refresh. You best get a back up mouse because you'll be at it for a while. Here are some things you might be questioning the meanings of. Like Hammer Time, I'll break it down:

  • Disconnected - one step further than 'off the hook'
    ORIGINS - Redman lyric
    EXAMPLE - "F*ck off the hook, I leave sh!t disconnected" - Reggie Noble

  • Fully - statement of agreement
    ORIGINS - Half Baked (I had originally thought that's what Brian said, instead of bully), Tragically Hip
    EXAMPLE - "Traddy needs to update his sh!t" "Fully, man"

  • Gairles - girls; spoken in the style of a Toddy Tickles (note: precedes Toddy Tickles' time)
    ORIGINS - Trent 'OC'
    EXAMPLE - "Hey, what are you gairles up to?" *wink* *possible gun*

  • Hip Beats - sounds good
    ORIGINS - What sounds good? Hip beats do. Ugnn!
    EXAMPLE - "We are heading over to the pub. You in?" "Hip Beats."

  • Jimmy (adj. or verb)/Jimmied (verb) - to temporarily fix something, or at least to give the impression it has been fixed; often by devious and/or hurtbag means.
    ORIGINS - I would imagine it would be named after ol' Jimmy Fixit, but I don't know
    EXAMPLE - "The numbers were good last month because he jimmied the system"
    EXAMPLE #2 - "You fixed it with a slice of tape? Jimmy."

  • Jimmy (noun) - Name given to any random person. It's like referring to someone as "John Doe", but less dickish.
    ORIGINS - It's John's pal.
    EXAMPLE - Randy: "Hey who was that in there drinking all the milk?"
    Dean: "I don't know. Some Jimmy."

  • Johnny Law - police officer, po po, 5-0, nyah copper nyah
    ORIGINS - well hey, this one's been around before woop woop was the sound of the police
    EXAMPLE - "I got pulled over by Johnny Law coming back from Huntsville"

  • Lotion on it's Skin - gloating, a.k.a. rubbing it in
    ORIGINS - Silence.. of the Lambs
    EXAMPLE - Big Winner :"I beat that mothertoucher with San Jose in NHL 94."
    Big Loser: "Lotion on it's Skin, you cheap-goal-scoring dickhole"

  • Luscious - can used to describe someone or something that is not givin'er
    ORIGINS - ?
    EXAMPLE - "Where's Traddy?" "He's not coming out, he's being luscious"

  • Luscious Jackson - person who exemplifies luscious traits
    ORIGINS - contrary to popular belief, this has nothing to do with the band of the same name. I don't even know any songs of theirs. However, the name works out perfectly.
    EXAMPLE - "Has anybody seen Luscious Jackson lately?"

  • PP - "Personal Pan" - a persey wheel (see wheel - noun below).
    ORIGINS - Trent 'OC'
    EXAMPLE - "I might head over to Champlain for a PP" Note: Sketchy use. Sounds like you want to tinkle to people who aren't familiar. Follow proper timing and enunciation (like you're a grown-ass person wanting munch and not a six year old wanting to leak one)

  • Purvaise - the puffy hair; not a fro; impervious to moisture, aerial attacks; hairstyle the ladies strangely are not attracted to
    ORIGINS - comes from this dude named Purves
    EXAMPLE - "There is a bird caught in your Purvaise"

  • Rink (adj.) - small time
    ORIGINS - short form of rinky dink
    EXAMPLE - "I went into that store the other day. It's just some rink place with nothing in it"

  • Skurt skurt - turning quickly esp. in a car
    ORIGINS - that's the sound
    EXAMPLE - "I skurt skurt skurted the corner at fitty (Note: no one actually says this ever)

  • Shaker - happening party
    ORIGINS - not sure
    EXAMPLE - "There's a shaker at Jayker's"

  • Shake Jam - doubly happening party that boom boom shakes the room
    ORIGINS - not sure
    EXAMPLE - "There's a shake jam going down at (enter name)'s house"

  • Shatkins Diet - To drink enough to get shatty aka drunk.
    ORIGINS - Derived from the Atkins Diet, but instead of the low carbs technique, it's high alcohol.
    EXAMPLE - "I think I'm going on the Shatkins Diet tonight"

  • Sh!t, shower and shave - how guys get ready
    ORIGINS - Stroud; common
    EXAMPLE - "You want to go to the pub?" "Yeah, I just gotta sh!t, shower, and shave"

  • Shiznittlebamsnipsnapsack - top quality, the tippy, greatest
    ORIGINS - Half Baked
    EXAMPLE - "That meal was incredible. The steak was the sniznittlebamsnipsnapsack."

  • Steeped - great
    ORIGINS - Tim Hortons commercial
    EXAMPLE - "Mrs. Chan, garden's lookin' steeped!"

  • Supercoffee - see definition here
    ORIGINS - not drinking coffee fast enough
    EXAMPLE - "No, I'm good. I just drank another supercoffee"

  • Thanks, Tips phrase used to reply to an obvious statement
    ORIGINS - common
    EXAMPLE - Person 1: "It's hot in that sauna."
    Person 2: "Thanks, Tips"

  • Throw a Space Age Whiz Kid - to pee
    ORIGINS - a line from a short of some sort from the internet
    EXAMPLE - "We should pull off at this gas station up here. I've got to throw a space age whiz kid"

  • Tony Danza, The - When you're having sex doggystyle, ask the girl, "Who's the Boss?". She is likely to say that you are. At that point, you yell, "Wrong, bitch! It's Tony Danza!" and donkey punch her.
    ORIGINS - Sex Moves based on 90's TV Sitcoms = Fun
    EXAMPLE - Do you really need it in a sentence?

  • Trek - long walk
    ORIGINS - Possibly Alcona; I think it's somewhat common
    EXAMPLE - "We're taking a trek down to the lake"

  • Wheel (noun) - Pizza (in it's entirety)
    ORIGINS - Somewhat common I believe
    EXAMPLE - "I'm hungry. I'm thinking about ordering a wheel"

  • Wheel/Wheelin' (verb) - to attempt to pick up girls
    ORIGINS - More common than the pizza definition
    EXAMPLE - "I was wheelin girls at the pub last night. Don Juan would have been all, 'oh snap son'."
