1992 Chevrolet Cavalier Wagon 4 Cylinder Mini Car

I took this car to the Summer Madness 2001 Demolition Derby in Kingston, Ontario. I got this car from my friend Maris for $75. The engine ran amazing and the entire car was in good condition. The body was a bit rough, but that didn't matter to me! I ended up going against 2 Volvo sedans in my heat (the Kingston boys again). It came down to me and the two Volvos. I smartly took 3rd place as I shut the car off. They were taking the top 3 anyway so I made the feature. I didn't have enough car to beat those Volvos in the heat and go in the feature. We thrashed on the car and thanks to a towing company from Kingston (Special Thanks to Ward's Towing!), we got the rear end of the car lifted back up (it still went to the ground even though I tried to pre-bend it). I made it out for the feature. I went right after everyone out there. I even took on the Kingston boys who cut me no slack. It came down to me and Greg Miller in what was a Pontiac Acadian. It was already pre-derbied. I knew he was rear wheel drive so when it came down to the two of us in the feature, I just kept long tracking his back end until I packed his rear quarter panels into his tires. I had to keep using the front as the back was dragging the ground again. He kept stalling, and then re-starting so I would hit him again. Finally he could move no further and the checkered flag flew. I had won the biggest derby prize to this day! I took home a huge trophy and $1000 for the win.
