1977 Chevy Impala 4 Door Wagon
This car was provided free to me by Tim Smith for helping him strip out his derby cars. He let me use his 327ci Chevy motor again for it as it came motorless. I took this car to the 1997 Spring Madoc Derby, and got second in my heat and third place in the feature race. The car was not totally wrecked so I entered it again in the 1997 Tweed Demolition Derby where I made the best hit I have EVER made. I went front end to front end long tracking a little V6 84 Buick Skylark. It took my
front end up about a foot, but the Buick NEVER moved afterwards. I ended up breaking my tie rod in my heat and had to change it between heats. I only got 6th place in the feature as the tie rod broke again leaving me stranded.
