No Stars in this Sky

In this Westernmost sky
there are no stars
a blank grey and orange
reflection of the fires
of man
the stars of man
his technology
hide the skies....
Most of all
I miss them....
To gaze
heavenward
and see
a million
points of
light
in a velvet
midnight
sky...
rather than
this muddy sight
of bright L.A.
Not homesick,
really
but sick
nonetheless
homesick
for a home
I have never
known
nor seen....
For someplace
some time
something
REAL....
Someplace with
FIRE
and SOUL....
Out here,
my Sun,
my Moon,
my Stars...
all in one,
my Kimberly...
my dearest
love
is gone
A total eclipse
of Kimberly?
Gone for the weekend....
Days wasted,
yet not,
for I Did see
her,
We Did touch
We Did kiss
We Did love...
I miss you tonight
my love
my heart...
Will we
meet
again
before
I fly
away
upon the
Tides
of Time?
If nowhere
else,
always there are
Dreams...
I wish us both Sweet ones....
Ciao, bela....
I love you...
Good
Night....
