Woodlawn Cemetery - Lovilia, Iowa Census completed June 1999 by Stephen Stewart has a Charles Day listed as 0507 d. Cyrus DAY

Cyrus's parents so far remain unknown.  I estimate they were born Bet. 1775-1785 in New York or New Jersey (possibly) and have no idea when nor where they died.  Am taking a good look at the Census for 1840 and 1850 in Jennings County, Indiana.  Just wish I could get to Indiana to do research.  There is a strong chance that Cyrus is related to the other DAYs in the area.  So far I have no proof.   Am wondering if his father's given name was James and his mother's maiden name was Black due to James Black Day being the oldest son??????  vlww
