Oklahoma has so much when it comes to wild edibles! These are a few of the edible plants and herbs we wildcraft on our homestead. I am going to carry the camera with me this year and start taking pictures of these plants and also the process we go through to dry and prepare them for use. I will add how we use them on our homestead. As with all herbs and plants one must be sure to correctly identify them. Our rule is if we are not 100% sure, don't pick it. Also there is always the chance of allergic reaction. I would suggest if you are interested in doing this to find someone who knows for sure and will take the time to teach you, or a good botanist.
