Welcome to the page where every Traumatic Brain Injury survivors voice is going to count. We may or may not voice different opinions, but what matters is that we work together towards a common goal. Nothing is going to be achieved if there is non stop bickering.

* Yes I do. I think it has helped my son knowing he is not alone out there. He needs to talk to other TBI survivors because they understand what he is going through and if he has a question they can answer it for him. I can love him but I don't always know what he is feeling. So I enjoy reading others comments so I can better understand what he is going through.
* Wonderful idea, primarily because ther's not a lot out there, those of us who are "high functioning" (don't you hate that phrase?) have a lot to say, and sometimes people around we-the-brain-injured "just don't get it."
* Yes. It helps SOME but could do a lot more--should have special aspects of TBI problems in FAQ format--and a CHAT SITE for us gimps.
* Yes, it provides a place where you can talk to people in your same situation, and get and provide others with helpful information. It helps some but could do a lot more.
* Yes!! You have to inform people of all the different things that are out there.
* Yes online groups have been a huge help. I did get to my local group regularly before I acquired internet access, but I stopped going a few months later. They only meet once a month (and are now probably disbanding because of lack of funding), whereas online groups are 24/7. Plus because online groups are bigger and members are worldwide, there's a much greater variety of experiences (and treatment histories) "out there" to compare notes about.
* Sure, I belong to some chat groups, and we discuss life as we know it now and such.
* The thoughts of us TBIrs trying to make it without the help we get from groups like this would place us very lonely people.
* support
* It's a wonderful idea
* I think it is always a good idea to have places where people can go for support is a very important thing to have in these times.
* Yep, fact I plan to builds one.
* (In regards to A TBI's Corner and TBI Information Center) It's great to be able to link up with others who understand and also good for public awareness.
