It's hard for me to believe this but TBI Raiders has been here going on six years towards the end of this month. Even though I started this up when I was in college, it doesn't feel like it's been around that long! I meant to have scheduled chat last month but my computer started goofing up.
It is 2008 and there is an election this year. We need to see to it that our issues are heard. Because it would not only benefit our lives but the lives of the many men and women who have been injured/disabled since the war on Terror started. I haven't a clue if any of them have any kind of idea as to what they are in for now. I don't even know how much of an idea the military has on disabilities, especially TBI.
That's why we need to see to it our issues/problems/annoying life problems are heard! I know each disability group has their own agenda, but people come on! Let's get real for a moment here. If it means it will help those with disabilities, come on...you should unite on something. Plus those of us with TBI live with additional disabilities. So those of us that have sustained our TBI in this country and not in a battle know first hand what the veterans w/ a TBI are in for...
And it AIN'T no picnic folks!
