The purpose of having this home page is to establish my identity in this fast changing world of the 21st Century. The Bible says that "the length of our days on earth is 70 years or 80 if we have the strength, but their span is full of pain and sorrow and they quickly fly away". Then it goes on to say "teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom".

With this brief introduction I welcome you to browse through my home page and glint whatever gems of wisdom you may find in in these pages. I am a born again Christian and throughout these pages you will find passages devoted to praising and thanking God for His goodness and mercy and especially for His grace towards an unmitigated sinner like me. But since coming back to God from my wanderings in the wilderness of sin, I find peace, joy and reconciliation with God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit which now indwells my very being, body and soul.

I praise and thank God for keeping my marriage intact all these 48 years and for blessing my family of three sons who are all now grown up and financially independent. When I read of the growing number of divorces in our society, I feel aggrieved especially for the children, no matter whatever reason the parents may give for preferring to opt out of their marriages. As one writer has rightly put it, when parents choose divorce, they are putting their own interest before that of their children, even though they may rationalise to themselves that a broken home is preferable to a dysfunctional home.

The views and comments pages are the result of years of experience under different circumstances and situations. I will add to them as time goes on until the day I am called home to be with my heavenly Father. Likewise the photos reflect experiences and places that I have lived in and visited in the course of my travels. I will add another page in due course where I will share what God has done for me and the insights I have gained from the reading of His Holy Word.
