SOAR is a non-profit rescue. We are an all breed rescue. We always have dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages available. We rescue our dogs from shelters, where they are awaiting Euthanasia, and also from owners who can no longer keep their dog for any number of reasons.

We are located in Southern California. Devore to be exact. We rescue our dogs from the Inland Empire, and surrounding areas. We adopt to all of Southern California and surrounding areas. Long distance adoptions occasionally permitted in special circumstances in the following areas: Northern California, Nevada, and Arizona but you must personally drive to meet with a SOAR representative to meet your new pet.

We are run by ALL volunteers! We run on donations. We are a non-profit agency and do not receive government funding. To make a donation, click HERE

Each SOAR dog is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, parasite tested, put on flea and tick preventative (FRONTLINE), groomed, and given any needed medical care, along with a full health and temperament evaluation before they go to their new homes. All dogs are quarantined for a 2 week period before released from our facility in order to insure the dog is in good health and has no underlying illnesses.

We house all our dogs in foster homes. The dogs are rescued, vet checked, and then sent to their foster homes. Right now we are in desperate need of foster homes! Click HERE. if you can, or are interested in fostering for SOAR!

We always have several dogs needing homes, of all ages. Click HERE. if you want to, fill out an adoption application to adopt a dog! We charge an adoption donation for all dogs. Our adoption donations range from $85 to $400, depending on the dogs breed, age, and/or any special circumstances that may be for the dog at question. The adoption donation is not to simply reimburse us for the care provided towards the dog, but it more so goes forth to help the other dogs that are in our rescue or that will be rescued. We have many dogs in our rescue that are unadoptable and simply stay with us in our facility.
