Cichlids

The Cichlid Family are from the Amazon River in South America. These fish seem to be harder to breed and are much more aggressive than any other type of family. But over all of that I think that they are the nicest looking fish and they care for their young, unlike most other fish.

The Cichlids are a very popular type of fish. They are also very facinating, because they dont all share the same shape and size. They come in lots of varieties and amazing colours. Although beginners are not advised to keep them, I think beginners can keep a few Angelfish if they have some guidence once in a while from someone who keeps them.
