The house was built in 1974 by I.A. Spann for his family. It was one of the earlier homes in Hall Park, a separate township bordering Norman on the Northeast. The house backs up to one of a series of small lakes and is not far from Greenbelt areas and parks.

The house has been owned by the current owner for 10 years. The remodeling and updating process has been ongoing throughout the years.
