Details of the House

Year Built: 1974

Bedrooms: The house has five bedrooms; four are upstairs and one is downstairs. The downstairs bedroom has an attached bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs is very large with an attached bathroom and a walk-in closet. There is only one bedroom that does not have a closet.

Bathrooms: There are four full bathrooms; two upstairs and two downstairs. The master bathroom upstairs has a jacuzzi tub, two sinks, and a closet. The other bathroom upstairs is very large and has three closets. Both of the downstairs bathrooms have walk-in showers.

Floors: The entire house has tile floors(vinyl and ceramic), except for the kitchen and stairs. The kitchen has a parquet wood floor and the stairs are carpeted.

Exterior: The exterior is comprised of stucco, vinyl siding, brick, and flagstone.

Roof: The roof at the back of the house is a composition shingle about 5 years old. The front section is a mansard shake shingle with a flat top. Over the pool is a large concrete deck area accessed from the upstairs central hallway.

Square Feet: 3200 sq. ft. of living space.

Why is this house priced so low? The house has a great deal of structural damage which will need to be repaired. The most damage is in the swimming pool area, where moderate to severe cracks in the walls can be seen. The damage extends across the entire north side of the house. Piers or some other method of stabilization will be required.

A great deal of work has been done on this house since it was purchased by the current owner in 1993, yet some projects remain unfinished. All but four windows have been replaced. The two west side windows have been purchased and will go with the house. The exterior was being refaced with synergy, a latex based stucco, but it was not finished. The materials to finish the work will stay with the house.
