Shooting
Clays
|
Shooting trap is a sport that
first started around 1812 in England using live pigeons. In about
1883
the clay pigeon was developed. The name "shooting Trap" came from
the
thrower. The trap was a machine that would throw the clay disk,
or
clay pigeon, into the air so you could shoot at it.
Shooting trap has developed into a very high tech sport. From the different guns used to the clays them selves, the sport has evolved greatly over the last century. |
