There are many kinds of gun rangeing in price from $15.00 - $1500.00. Most people say to get a semi-auto which I agree but after a while I think you should try a pump cause it puts more challange into the game. Most people say that the best begginer level guns are Tippmanns, Spyders and pirahnas. I have personaly shoot the tippmann and spyders. In my opinion I would do with the Tippmann. Although I have heard a lot of good about pirahnas. But the best thing to do would be iff you could to a shop and ask if you could hold and maybe shoot a couple. And tell by which you like. Some of the major types of markers are listed below.
Pump Guns
This is a type of gun in which you must pump the pump arm to put the ball into the gun, much like a shotgun. Theses guns are usualy slower but quiter which makes them ideal for snipeing.
Semi-Auto
This is the kind of gun where all you have to do is pull the tigger to pump and fire the gun. Now lets talk about BPS or Balls Per Second. If your gun shoot four bps that means that is how many ball can load into the gun in one second. So if you pull the tigger six times in one second it will only shoot four balls the other times it will only shoot air.
Full-Auto
This is where all you have to do is pull and hold the trigger. The gun will shoot until you release the trigger.
Electro
This is a electronic marker. instead of mechenicly shooting when you pull the trigger it just bumps a button and the little chips or computer inside doeas the rest allowing for an extreme rate of fire. Some also come with differnt settings such as semi-auto,3 shot burst, 6 shot burst, full auto and many others.
