Proposed

Proposed museum after construction of metal building over the historic blacksmith shop. The metal structure will protect the original shop and provide air conditioned space for an art gallery, exhibts and historic documents as well as an office.

A temporary location at the old laundromat next to the post office has been chosen as a temporary site for the museum.

The Floor Plan

A preliminary floor plan for the Temple Museum. The brick deck will come from a collection of Oklahoma bricks from Tab Lewis, past president of the International Brick Collectors Association. Blacksmith tools and equipment will be displayed on the east side where the earth floor will remain.








The Lot View

A rough configuration of the lot where the old metal blacksmith shop stands. A metal building will be built over the existing shop. The covered entry will have room for lunch tables and community activities that can spread into the garden.
