The Legend of Zelda: Trading Card Game
Section 7. Frequently Asked Questions and Current Rulings
This section is devoted to Frequently Asked Questions and current rulings about certain cards
and rules in
the Legend of Zelda: TCG.
4/30/03:
The Number of Battlesites in a Battlesite Deck has been Changed from 6-8 to just
6. This was done to not clog up the table so much with too many Battlesites.
Wind Waker and Four Swords Main Characters Rule
Due to the Link in Wind Waker (and I personally believe Four Swords as well
due to the official art) being in a different Timeline (After Link went back to
his other Timeline after whoopin up on Ganon in the Adult Timeline, the Adult
Timeline stayed and wind Waker takes place in this Timeline), He is an Alternate
Timeline LinkII. Alternate Timeline Characters are identified with a Different
Unique Symbol.

2/01/03:
2 Characters in the Same Attack
When a card allows 2 Characters to be in the same Attack against an opponent's
Character, both Character's Might are added together, plus any modifiers such as
game text on a Battlesite, an Event, or an Item.
If the 2 Characters lose the Attack, both take
one wound. That's the downside to attacking together.

Legends
118. Wrongly Accused
A sentence on the Theme Card reads, "Kakariko Villagers are an additional Might +1 while at the same Kakariko Village Battlesite as an
Elder." Sahasrala, Elder of the Land
has "Elder" in his subtitle, therefore, Wrongly Accused's game text
applies when a Kakariko Villager is at Sahasrala's Battlesite (as long as
Sahasrala is at a Kakariko Village Battlesite).
01/25/03:
Legends
97. Captured
Current Ruling on being Captured:
This card allows the Power Character to capture a just-discarded Courage
Character. Being captured means that the captured Character transfers over to
the Power player's side of the table and is placed under the Power Character who
won the Attack. Nothing really happens except that the Courage Character is
treated as if it was a card played on the Power Character that has no game text
or stats. All the captured Character has is it's Card Title, meaning the Courage
player may not play another version of the captured Character, because that
Character is still on the table, until they are Rescued. If the Power Character,
that has captured the Courage Character, is discarded, the Courage Character
then returns to the Courage player's side of the table. All Courage Characters
in the game may be captured, except for any Link.
