The news is out! Sydney Dogs Home has cancelled
the wheelchair as Freida is well on the way to total
recovery. Thanks to Beagle Rescue, and all the other
Beagle fans who made donations to the Shelter, Freida
has had her hip surgery and is now starting a new

'Siouxsie and Emma are dearly loved and their owner
misses them every time they are apart. But they need a break for a while
as their owner is having serious difficulties and needs to reorganise
her life. Their owner is seeking to place them for a holiday of about
three months duration with experienced dog owners, who have a secure
property. A semi-rural situation would be ideal.
Emma is a 12-year-old Belgian shepherd who is placid, highly sociable with
people and dogs, and easily pleased. She has a recurring skin condition that
requires tablets and a special shampoo. Siouxsie is a 6 year old Cattle X
Shetland, who is affectionate, well-trained and obedient. However she is
dog-aggressive and barks so must be walked with a gentle leader or muzzle.
They insist on being walked together and have been each other's constant
company for seven years.
