        In a TV interview, the Chairman of the Senate Armed Forces Committee angrily tells viewers that [only]

        Part of the treaty Kennedy signed with Khrushchev during the CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS demanded the CLOSING of certain US bases that Khrushchev considered a THREAT.* Coincidentally, this month the Defense Department is closing US missile bases in Turkey and Italy, declaring them"outmoded."W - JOHN A.         Speaking of going back to the beginning let's review what the Communists planned for us - way back in the 30s:

        [NOTE: *How about this for irony: this year this very same Supreme Court TOOK PRAYER OUT OF SCHOOLl - OL] Read the following:

        "The FIRST AMENDMENT declares that 'Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...' It is, I think, a FALLACIOUS
OVERSIMPLIFICATION to regard these two provisions as establishing a single constitutional standard of 'SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE,' which can be mechanically applied in every case to delineate the required boundries between government and religion. We ERR in the first place if we do not recognize, as a matter of history and as a matter of the imperatives of our free society, that religion and government must necessarily interact in countless ways. SECONDLY, the fact is that while in many contexts the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause fully complement each other, there are areas in which a doctrinaire reading of the Establishment Clause leads to irreconcilable conflict with the Free Exercise Clause.
        "A single obvious example should suffice to make the point. SPENDING FEDERAL FUNDS TO EMPLOY CHAPLAINS for the ARMED FORCES might be said to violate the Establishment Clause. Yet, a lonely soldier stationed at some faraway outpost could surely complain that a government which did NOT provide him the opportunity for pastoral guidance was affirmatively PROHIBITING the free exercise* of his religion.         "For there is involved in this case a substantial free exercise claim on the part of those who affirmatively desire to have their children's school day open with the reading of passages from the Bible...It might be argued here that parents who wanted their children to be exposed to religious influences in school could...send their children to private or parochial schools. But the consideration which renders this contention too facile (easy) to be determinative has already been recognized by the Court: 'Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Religion are available to all, NOT MERELY TO THOSE WHO CAN PAY THEIR OWN WAY.'     "...a COMPULSORY STATE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM so structures a child's life that if religious exercises are held to be an impermissible activity in schools, RELIGION IS PLACED AT AN ARTIFICIAL AND STATE-CREATED DISADVANTAGE. Viewed in this light, permission of such exercises for those who want them is necessary if the schools are truly to be NEUTRAL in the matter of religion. And a REFUSAL to permit religious exercises thus is seen, not as the realization of state neutrality, but rather as the establishment of a RELIGION OF SECULARISM, or at the least, as government support of the beliefs of those who think that religious exercises should be conducted only in private..." - JUSTICE POTTER STEWART (U.S. Supreme Court) [111]

        "NOT ONE NEW WEAPONS SYSTEM HAS BEEN PROPOSED UNDER THE PRESENT ADMINISTRATION. The RS-70 has been abandoned. SKYBOLT has been dropped, MANNED BOMBERS are being phased out.         "I have stated, as my personal opinion only, that the JOHN BIRCH SOCIETY is the most effective non-church organization in our fight against CREEPING SOCIALISM AND GODLESS COMMUNISM." - EZRA TAFT BENSON [112]
        On April 17th, the U.S. Department of Defense admits that the Soviet anti-missile missiles deployed around Leningrad have the capability to intercept and DESTROY AMERICAN POLARIS MISSILES. - "HUMAN EVENTS" 8/10/63

        A new kind of school is planned to be called the NORTH CAROLINA GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL for the gifted and talented. Backing this endeavor is the CARNEGIE CORPORATION - who will give them $225,000 over three years. Prior to its opening, one of its professors lays out their plans:
        "...we are planning to administer an extensive test battery including measures of aptitude, interest, and personality." - PROFESSOR GEORGE WELSH (Dept. of Psychology - University of North Carolina) [116] Part of the test includes the true or false statement: "I believe in the worth of humanity, but NOT IN GOD." - DR.         [NOTE: Could they be right? Let's take a look at what the AUTHORS of the First Amendment REALLY thought:
    "We have staked the WHOLE FUTURE of American civilization, NOT upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future...upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to sustain ourselves, according to the TEN COMMANDMENTS of God." - JAMES MADISON

        "It is impossible to rightly govern...WITHOUT God and the Bible." - GEORGE WASHINGTON
        "Suppos [sic] a nation in some distant Region, should take the Bible for their ONLY law book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the PRECEPTS there exhibited...What a Eutopa [sic] (Utopia), what a PARADISE would this region be!" - JOHN ADAMS
        "[T]he moral principles and precepts contained in the SCRIPTURES ought to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws...All the miseries and evils which men suffer from VICE, CRIME, AMBITION, INJUSTICE, OPPRESSION, SLAVERY and WAR, proceed from their DESPISING or NEGLECTING the precepts contained in the BIBLE." - NOAH WEBSTER
        Finally, to confirm that we were FOUNDED as a CHRISTIAN nation - and NOT as a RELIGIOUSLY DIVERSE, multi-cultural society trying to get away from religion:
        "...[T]he Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer's mission on earth [and] LAID THE CORNER STONE OF HUMAN GOVERNMENT UPON THE PRECEPTS OF CHRISTIANITY." - JOHN QUINCY ADAMS   So, what do y'all think? Think these men wanted to protect our children from being exposed to prayer, the Ten Commandments or the Bible? - OL]

        "PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION...REJECTED GRADED, SUBJECT-MATTER REPORT CARDS. It frowned on classroom ability groupings. It refused to retain pupils in one grade even if the pupils in turn had declined to make any effort to go on to the next grade. All this was done in the name of democracy. 'DEMOCRACY IN EDUCATION' became, in fact, the watchword of the new philosophy, a semantic gambit typical of totalitarians, who always say 'PEACE' when they mean 'WAR,' 'BLACK' when they mean 'WHITE,' and 'DEMOCRACY' when they mean EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE.

        June 4th: "UNIFICATION (U.S. and U.S.S.R.) - ...its logical simplicity...is so compelling that it seems to warrant more systematic investigation...Today, the UNITED STATES AND THE SOVIET UNION COMBINED have for all practical purposes a near monopoly of force in the world. If the use and direction of this power could somehow be SYNCHRONIZED (arranged to indicate coincidence or coexistence), stability and, indeed, even unity might be within reach. - "STUDY PHOENIX PAPER" [124]
        WHY did CIA agents round up US-based coordinators of nearly 100 underground organizations in Cuba, just days before the planned invasion - and deliver them to be HELD INCOMMUNICADO BY U.S. AUTHORITIES at a secluded spot in Florida? - "THE NATIONAL REVIEW" 8/13/63

powerful president of the Chase Manhattan bank has a message for Johnson from Khrushchev: the United States and the Soviet Union "should DO MORE TRADE."
