Welcome to the Horse Photo Gallery!

This site continues to change, as foals are born and some horses pass away. We will be selling foals only in the next few years. The Hackney Arabian cross foals are due in the spring of 2005. Look for them as horses with beauty, action, size and grace.
The Arabians

We used Alphie as a stallion for a few years. He is the classic Arabian. His head is always up when he runs, the tail flowing, and the floating on air gait. He and Asti had four beautiful foals.

This is Alphie and Asti. They were a perfect pair. Asti is out of Mr. Binnis and Daubrey. For some reason she ended up being 15.2H. I am not sure how tall Binnis was but Daubrey was 14.1H. Not sure where Asti's height came from. Right now her offspring will be five, five, six and seven in March. Aero is now about 15H, I am not sure he will get much taller.

This is Aero, Asti and Alphie. Their disposition makes them very easy to handle. It was always hard to take a picture of Asti without having Alphie in it!

This is Aero, he has the looks of his father but he does not capture your attention like Alphie does. Here is Aero, Aurora, Asterick and Jake, the dog, going out to pasture. I can not tell who is who from this picture, they are all about the same color and have the same markings.

This is Aurora, she is is also from Asti and Alphie. At six she stands about 15H tall. She is a lot like Asti. He biggest problem is that she HATES trailers!

Asterick was the last foal for Alphie and Asti. She is now five years old. She is much shorter than Aurora. She has a great disposition! Both of of these horses have been bred to a registered Hackney stallion. This cross should produce horses with size and refinedment. The elegance of the Arabian, and the action of the Hackney.

This is Maximum Chambord getting hitched up by his owner.

We leased Max for the breeding since one of the mares didn't want to stay in the trailer. He was a very easy keeper and easy to handle. We expect foals with a little color from them in May of 2005.

The Quarter Horses

Motion has been been bred for June 2005 foal!

This is my son and King's Little Misty at a horse show in August of 2002. She is a wonderful horse with an excellent disposition. She stands 15.H. we bought her as a 19yo in 2001 and have enjoyed having her at our farm. She is an easy keeper with a calm attitude. Great for our eight year old daughter. Unfortunately Misty had cancer. We had her put down in April of 2004. She is missed everyday.

This is Maid of Motion, we bought her and Shamus in the summer of 2002. She is an 24yo registered AQHA. She is built a lot different than Misty. She is stocky and seems to look at her best when she weights about 1,100lbs. I think she is about 15.1H. The above pictures were from the first summer and fall we had her.

These pictures were taken in the summer of 2003. Motion is difficult to catch, unless you have food. She rides wonderfully. Once she is saddled she is very responsive. Her walk is comfortable and quick. My son used her for his show horse in 2003. We have bred back Motion to a beautiful buckskin for June 2005 foal.

She sure looks big in this picture! This was taken about seven weeks before Baby Diamond was born. I don't think she likes having her picture taken when she looks like this!

The Birth!

These pictures where taken when the foal was an hour old.

This is a good view of her dorsal stripe.

These pictures were taken when she was a week old.

The Tennessee Walker

Mighty Sun Up is a 1974 Tennessee Walker. He stands 15.2H and has the GREATEST Attitude of all my horses. Riding him is a wonderful time. He has so much energy and floats as he does his running walk. He is still a good looking horse at 30 years old! These pictures were taken June 10, 2004. He had a beautiful dappled coat. We still keep him on special food rations especially this winter since it has been so cold here in Michigan.
