Here is a recent charge made by an online heresy hunter against me, the founder of PFAI, and the fellowship I oversee as Bishop, and my response. This person goes by the pseudonym of "Sola Scriptura." Notice the unchristlike attitude in her article which was posted on a gossip and slander board located at Christian Teheology and Discussion Board . That board was recently placed in password protection mode so that a password is required to post messages or reply to messages, thus making it impossible for those who disagree with them to respond to their claims.
"We do believe that those who twist, ignore or change God's Word must be exposed. Those who are hearing false prophets such as those false prophets and false "christs" who are reportedly respsonsible for beginning and then maintaining PFAKE PFAI will not be pleased with those of us who expose them to the Light. No blood on our hands!
Who will stand up for truth regardless of the cost? Don't say "everybody has an opinion". We must learn God's opinion from His Holy Word! His opinion will be our judge, NOT RCC sources and various other traditions of man! Mercy will not cover known, willful sin. Be careful!

How To Discern False Prophets
The Lord Jesus spoke often about the danger of false prophets and false "christs". His disciples were constantly warning of false teachers and false disciples. Satan’s chief attack against the church has always been to produce a counterfeit. After Satan has produced his counterfeit preachers and prophets, he uses the world to talk about how crazy all Christians are by pointing out the false crowd. How clever and double-tongued the devil and his spirits are in their evil design.
The next time you hear or see a false prophet, just remember that he/she does not represent the true church of Jesus Christ. You can always remember that a Christian acts and lives like a Christian and the false is always the work of Satan to destroy. Do not be discouraged because the devil is doing his job and producing his false disciples. Let us do our job and produce the real and the pure so we can outshine the other crowd.
Error will be seen as error when the truth is seen clearly as the truth. When we hide the truth because somebody is producing the false, then we have helped the devil’s cause. I know too many real Christians to be discouraged about the hypocrites. Jesus warned us that false prophets and false disciples would arise and told us how to know the difference. When somebody says that you are judging, just tell them, "No, I am just inspecting the fruit."
Listen to the Lord of the Church. "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." (Matthew 7:15-20).
Remember, you are a fruit inspector. Jackals misuses this and becomes a slanderer. There is a fine line between the two.
PFAKE/PFAI "In 1989 an anointed prophet of God recounted a vision to Rev. Michael Kear, our Founding Bishop, during a Pastor's Meeting at Red Rock, Oklahoma. She said, "I don't know why God is having me share this with you, but I had a vision and in this vision I could see the United States from coast to coast. The whole land lay in darkness. Suddenly, a lighthouse began to emerge from the gloom in Oklahoma. Wherever the light from this lighthouse was shed abroad, other lighthouses began to spring up. And then where they shed their light, still others popped up and they began to spread north, south, east and west until the whole land was covered in light from sea to sea."
From its inception the "latter rain" Pentecostal movement has been characterized by doctrinal heresy, exaggeration, and deception. I realize these are hard words, but the documentation is irrefutable. This is because the first century messianic and apostolic miracles simply are not being performed by Christians today. Those who claim that the apostolic Pentecostal signs have been restored are forced to accept occultic/hypnotic phenomenon such as spirit slaying and drunkenness and soothsaying (which they often call "the word of knowledge) as apostolic signs, or they are forced to exaggerate and prefabricate the alleged signs. This is exactly what we see occurring in the latest manifestation of the latter rain movement. The latter rain movement of the 20th century is literally strewn with the wreckage of spiritual confusion, error, and deception.
PFAI is an example of what the Lord Jesus Christ warned that we are to judge; their teachers by their fruits (Matt. 7:15-18). A movement which claims to be the very fullness of the Holy Spirit, and PFAI a sub-group of that movement but which is literally strewn with false teaching, duplicity, immorality, and lunacy is to be rejected."
There are a number of things in error in her post. In the first place, neither I nor Dr. Mike Kear, founder of PFAI claim to be called to the office of "prophet," although we most strongly agree that the five-fold ministry of Ephesians 4:11-12 is for the Church today. Nor have either of us, or anyone else in PFAI for that matter, claimed to be "Christ" as this false teacher has claimed. Thus her basic premise about PFAI is founded in error.
Based upon her erroneous claims about PFAI and its leadership, we see that the only person she is exposing is herself, her ignorance of PFAI, the scriptures, and sound Biblical doctrine, and if she continues to spread her falsehoods and decieve people with them, she will have quite a bit of blood on her hands in spite of her claim to the contrary!
She has shown by her own ignorance of what she is talking about, that she is not standing for truth, but for error and is busy spreading her error.
She also displays an aversion for historic facts because they refute her traditions of men, and has attempted to dismiss certain historic facts of Church history simply because they are from Roman Catholic sources. If we were to follow her logic, we would have to discard the claims of the early explorers who explored the New World, since the majority of them were Roman Catholic. Thus we see that again her premise is based on falsehood and illogic.
Next, she quotes Dr. Joseph Chambers out of context in an attempt to discredit Pastor Leon Bible's refutation of his article against Rev. Dake and the Dake's Annotated Reference Bible. Nowhere in his letter to Mr. Chambers does Bro. Bible accuse him of being "judgmental." Mr. Chambers, by his own admission in his article, knows little to nothing about Dake or the reference Bible that bears his name, and Bro. Bible merely highlights that fact with a considerable amount of proof. Hence, we see that "Sola Scriptura" has taken a statement of Chambers' completely out of context. This is not the honest act of genuine apologists as she is trying hard to make herself appear to be.
Her next error is in trying to apply her plagiarized comments regarding discerning false prophets to PFAI, this again taking the article out of context and misapplying it to PFAI. PFAI holds to sound Biblical doctrine as can be seen by our Statement of Faith . Hence she once again proves that she is ignorant of PFAI and its beliefs.
Her position is essentially that of a "cessationist." One who denies that the Gifts of the Holy Ghost are in operation today, and thus places human limitations on God by means of her man-made traditions and doctrines. Hence, we see that her approach is not Biblically based, but actually based upon her own traditions of men, and this alone is sufficient to discredit her claims and disqualify her as a legitimate apologist. We have seen that she has exposed a great deal of her own ignorance regarding the subject she attempted to address.
She also displays a total ignorance of modern day Pentecostalism and its beliefs and rather than examine Pentecostalism from the Woird of God, she has judged it based upon her man-made doctrines and traditions, and this also disqualifies her and discredits her statements. She claims that Pentecostalism "has been characterized by doctrinal heresy, exaggeration, and deception" but give no examples to back her claim. Sure there have been heretical movements in modern day Pentecostalism, just as there have been heretical movements in the Baptist and other denominations. Why she is silent about those heretical movements raises a great deal of questions regarding her true motives, as well as her credibility.
She next blasphemes the Holy Ghost by claiming that certain acts of the Spirit are actually hypnotically induced, and is here repeating in parrot-like fashion, the false claims of heresy hunter, Hank Hannegraaf who claims to have eye-witnessed hypnosis being used in Pentecostal meetings. However, he has been proven to be a liar. So, instead of basing her opinion on the inspired, written Word of God, she bases it on the opinion of a discredited individual who is a known liar and plagiarizer, and who hijacked the ministry he now heads. This again shows the illogic of her claims, and reveals that her basic premise for her post is in error and based upon falsehoods.
Based upon these facts, are we to believe anything this individual writes? I think not! She has proven that she is totally unqualified to be writing about the subject she attempted to address, and reveals a total lack of knowledge of the subject. In effect, her own post has discredited her in the eyes of those knowledgable of the facts.
