The thing that makes me really really mad is racism. Racism sucks so bad. And so many people are so stupid and racist even now and think it's no big deal, or don't even realize that stuff they say or think is racist. I hate it.

Prejudice. Racism is only part of prejudice. Everyone should be viewed on their own personal merit. Not all blondes are stupid, not all women are bad drivers. Oh, and people that don't flush the toilet really get my goat too.

Yeah, racism does suck. But I don't think it'll ever go away. People have preconceived notions about other races that are learned as they grow up, whether it's from parents, friends, teachers, etc. It's just natural that you see something different when you look at someone of a different race -- I read about it in Pysch, but I don't remember exactly what it was called. You can't just tell someone, "Hey, that was racist. Don't do that. They may be of a different color, but we're all the same." It's like trying to stop the fighting in Israel... do you really think after centuries of hatred that peace is going to happen in a matter of years, even decades? Kinda off topic, but it's along the same lines -- some things aren't going to change any time soon. Okay, this was a long rant, but I wanted to say something other than "all you hot girls email me" or something dumb like that. Good subject, Linsey... good thing you're not blonde or you'd never have thought it up. :-p Kidding, kidding....

This is an "anonymous" response to Mikey's comments. Man oh man I can't believe you!! I didn't think I could ever be so furious or in disagreement with something you said. You're right, racism isn't going to go away if people have attitudes like that, that it's just a fact of life and there's nothing we can do about it. "It's just natural"?? That's about one of the most ignorant statements I have ever heard. Sorry Mikey, that was a really big disappointment.

In response to "anonymous"... I don't know how "ignorant" my comments were, but maybe I was a little too "hey, racism exists and we can't change it, so deal with it". I mean, I still think that racism will never truly be wiped out. But every little thing we do to stop it can't really hurt. I'm thinking my point didn't really come across too well in the last post, and honestly, I'm not really sure how to phrase how I feel about it. I'd also like to say that I really really hate sharing the road with women drivers... girls can't drive! :-D I'M KIDDING! JUST RELAX!!

I know that this deep thought has been up here for quite some time, but just today I found out what makes me really upset. That is when my roommates take my food. It didn't bother me the first twenty times they did it, but today, THREE slices of pizza were missing. It wouldn't really bother me that much, except slices of pizza have been disappearing like...something that disappears a lot, and I pay for these pizzas with my own money. It makes me kind of sad. Anyways, that's just my story.

Yeah, I hate bad roommates. One of mine is a freakin' slob. He leaves his boxers on the floor of the bathroom (that everyone uses), spills food all over the place (we have BBQ chip crumbs all over), and hardly ever cooks. I mean, I cook all the hard stuff for dinner, then when it's his turn to cook, he'll pop a frozen pizza in. What a beeyatch! So I guess I hate total freakin' slobs.
