More Everett's than ever before have been making an impact on the music scene. Here's the lowdown on musical Everett's.

Jazz drummer Sangoma Everett was born in Virginia, but has spent most of his musical career in Europe. In 2001 he formed the Sangoma Everett Group with The Nomads of the Desert and can now be found in France.

Solo country singer Jace Everett signed to Sony Records in 2005 after struggling for many years as an unknown musician in Texas and Nashville. He's now touring the US and releasing records.

Having just released his first full album Pevan Everett has been receiving some aclaim. Described as neo-soul with elements of hip-hop and latin jazz, he's becoming well known in America. To find out more about him and listen to some samples from his album, go to artists direct.

As the lead singer of The Lassie Foundation, Wayne Everett, has been recording since 1996. Check out their recording blog on their website for a listen to a new track.

Issac Everett is a multi-talented musician, playing the didjeredoo as well as piano. He also plays in a 'funky rock band' called Cottontail.

Shelly Everett is the singer for the BCCF praise band, a Christian group on salvage records.

Mark Everett, better known as E, is the lead singer in US group 'Eels ', who've had hits with their albums 'Beautiful Freak' and 'Daisy's for the Galaxy' on the DreamWorks label.  His father is Dr Hugh Everett, one of the most important scientists of the twentieth century.

Freddie Everett is also a front man, of the imaginatively titled, 'Freddie Everett Band', they have an album called 'from the silent edge'.

Kyle Everett is a Country and Western singer from Texas

Across the ocean
Dajon Everett is a guitarist and percussionist in British band Gomez, possibly the only Dajon in rock.

Matt Everett was in the drummer in another British band, Menswear, part of the short lived Brit-Pop era.

Not quite in the world of rock or Brit-Pop,
J Hoffman Everett was a nineteenth century song and hymn writer, many of you have probably sung his hymn 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing'
