QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER

FOR

OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, 2006

FROM THE EAST

2006 is wrapping up already! We’ve had a good year and much has been accomplished. We’ve made a positive mark in our community as well as adding many new members to our lodge. From the Cancer Society Breakfast, The American Legion Spaghetti Dinner, Scholarship Fund Raisers, FFA Auction, the Fish Dinner, other fund-raiser events, along with building a ramp for Past Worshipful Master Ron Vaughn to help him in his time of need, the summertime Masonic Picnic, and many other activities, we have had fun and done good. The upcoming last quarter of 2006 will be full of preparations for 2007, along with Holiday festivities, and Installation of Officers for 2007. Thank you one and all for your support in all the trainings, studies, meetings, and activities this year. A special thanks to all my 2006 Officers. I truly do appreciate your support. And a very SPECIAL thanks to Secretary Gil Gillim. Without his help I never would have been able to lead Masonic Lodge No 1. He is the ‘backbone’ of this lodge, without question!!. I have been honored to be your Worshipful Master. Fraternally Paul A. Maloy Worshipful Master

FROM THE WEST

Greetings from the west , We are in the last quarter of the year and have accomplished much, in just the last few weeks we have put on five entered apprentice degrees so our work is just getting under way ,we did well with the degrees but still need help from the brethren remember we still have practice on Monday nights at 6pm so come on down and learn A new part or brush up on an old one we need as many of you to participate as possible and with all the new ea's we are teaching now it would be a great time to sit in and brush up your cat lectures . So often I hear some of the brethren saying that they would like to see some changes in the lodge or maybe bring some new ideas well this is your opportunity we still have A couple positions open in the line so if you want to really help out your lodge come on down and let us know and we can work together to accomplish our goals. Fraternally yours, Danny McGuire Senior Warden

FROM THE SOUTH

I want to thank you for all the support you have provided during my tenure as your Junior Warden Pro-Temp. I really enjoyed cooking the meals and working the South, I have really learned a lot. I am sorry to say I won't be here next year as I am moving to Arkansas. The Lodge Picnic in June was a real hoot, quite a few Members came out and seemed to have a really good time. I hope the the upcoming Scholarship Breakfast on October 7 is a success, come on out and support this, as this is one of our success stories. Hoping to see you in Lodge. Fraternally George Patton Junior Warden Pro-Temp.
