Now, who really is getting bailed out? We know the big companies are, but we sure are not. I'm waiting for the big "trickle down effect"......but I'm not holding my breath. I keep watching CNN, I keep watching Fox news report's....notta, nothing, zilch, zero. We all remember being told that this bail out was going to help us, going to stir up our economy, bring back jobs and get everything back on track. Yes, I know....this is not going to happen over night, or even this year......BUT.....all I hear about are big companies, while the little guy has not a prayer in the world. You hear plenty about Wal Street and compaines like AIG. You hear a whole lot about the ones who did wrong and everyone is now after, BUT you hear nothing....or just bit's and peices about the little guy.

I would love to hear about what Obama has in store for the public....you know..us, we the people, the general public...just 'us'. Instead I now hear the plan is for the Government to have more control over everything....oh good God that will help...NOT! Now there are 'tea parties' sprnging up every where.....geee sound familiar? So is this where we are going? Back to the civil uprisings we stated with? Is Big Brother coming, or let's say ...getting stronger?

So where is our plan? Where is our help? Where is our bail out? Are we going to get bailed out? Or are we just getting Outed?

Global Warming in NOT in northern Michigan.....it forgot us! All I hear about is the warming of the Earth and up here in the great white north......horrible winter, tons of snow and no spring in sight. This would be a great time for a vacation! A vacation to some place warm....ahhhh the thought of warm sun makes me tingle! I know many northern people who go south for the winter....right now I wish I was one of them! I stay through the winter, getting the kids back and forth to school and the daily routine.

A nice hotel, a warm pool, sunshine.......a cocktail too!  I look with anticipation to the weather channel  each week in search of warmer weather........I am sadly disappointed each time. I would just like to ditch the winter coat's heavy sweaters, boots, mittens and chapped lips! So now....global warming........really? Where? Not here?  I don't really know if I would mind a bit of global warming right now...in fact, sounds down right cozy to this frozen woman!

 All I am left with now, for the mean time ......is those delightful commercials for cruises, airline tickets, deep discounts on just about every spot across the world....except here of course!

I can't believe that Oxy-Mom is still in news!! Only in America can you be rewarded for stupidity! Who knows how much she makes off her insane idea of family and responsibility. The public helps feed the craze of course, donations roll in, hundreds of hit's to her website, a fund for her kids.....ENOUGH ALL READY! 

She has reached the empitomy of stupidity and of course she excepts all major credit cards! I wish the news media and the public would ignore this woman and stop feeding her blatant want for her 15 minutes of fame.....which she sure did surpass! On the major news channels like CNN and Fox News, you would think they would lay off this story and make this woman just go away. I'm sure there are more news worthy stories out there and I strongly suggest they go find them. Also, is Oxy-moron-Mom being taxed for this money? Since she is on disability, is she now earning too much? Does this effect her disability? It dam well should! Enough is enough!

Sorry, I have no quick fix here. You can how ever think of news way's to make money, or change careers. ........lol, no time like the present for that! Also as most of us have had to do, life style change....big time! It's not so bad. You just become a professional bargain hunter! It is a challenge that can be a fun game. If you really look around your home and take a good look at yourself, there are changes that are quick and easy changes you can make.

There are the big ones, stay in more, have people over....make it a bring a dish, exchange recipes! Car pool when ever you can. I know it might be hard but cut back your cable to expanded basic or just basic. The less channels, the less money. Find way's to make gift's even if it's baked good... I myself love getting those! Go natural this summer and grow your veggies and herbs, make it a family project! You can start seeds now and they are cheaper than starter plant's! Household cleaners are expensive! The good old vinegar and water with just touch (small) of dish soap get's any glass surface sparkly!

Wash your car at home, like when you were a kid! I still think's fun on a hot day. Also, with a simple pair of maps, you can learn (ladies) how to change your oil. Changing your oil can save you on a average a few HUNDRED bucks a year, for about 20 minutes of your time. Can eminence is not rocket science, look it up online! I have learned how to change simple part's and saved THOUSANDS. Even with today's car's, things like a battery change, a starter, tune up....yes you can do it!

In your home, we all now the cheapest thing and one of the biggest bangs for your buck is paint. Let me tell you a tip here. Wal-Mart does not make paint. They contract from other manufactures like Behr,  Pratt & Lambert,....so when you buy your  Wal-Mart brand paint, you are getting the expensive paint, but for WAY LESS!  Wal-Mart and stores like them do not manufacture thier stuff, it's all bought from suppliers. Bedding, household items, furniture. Big Lot's is another huge bargain spot and I do a lot of grocery shopping at a restaurant supply store, like Gordens.

Help me figure this out. Ok. Obama allotted billions of dollars for our infrastructure (highways, bridges, etc.) but we need that money for the homeless. Everything anyone does it the state house and on the federal level if for people who are employed, own/rent houses, or are jobless. Is anyone thinking about those poor homeless people who sleep on sewer vents that pump hot air out in the winter in the middle of our huge cities? I know EVERYONE who drives around town has an area called "projects". Typically there are abandoned houses/businesses that feed crime and drugs.

Homeless people don't need much. All they require is a dry, warm place to lay their heads. Why can't we take these buildings with the money Obama found for bumpy/pot holed roads (at least people who drive on them own cars) and renovate (not glamourize) old run down abandoned buildings for these poor people?

I think that would justify why our great-great-grandkids will still be in debt from our stupidity and wastefulness. Don't you?
