Sam McCoy has served as President and Chief Executive Officer for Protection Services Specialists, Inc.., since he founded the firm in 1997. Mr. McCoy holds a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science degree in Corrections. He has held executive level positions in both law enforcement, corrections, and industrial security agencies. He has taught law enforcement, corrections and industrial security related courses at several Oklahoma universities continuously for the past 15 years. Mr. McCoy has authored regional and national accredited training programs for detention officers and corrections officers. He is a state certified law enforcement officer.

Charles Spears was named as Vice-President to the firm in March of 1992. He has served as Chief of Security in both a state correctional center and county jail. Mr. Spears is a certified firearms instructor in the state of Oklahoma. He has held a variety of positions, ranging from site supervisor to operations manager at a number of private security firms. Mr. Spears has over 20 years of experience in both the industrial security and correctional fields.

John A. Martin was named as a consultant to the firm in July of 2001. Martin has held various law enforcement. Correctional and juvenile justice positions with the state of Oklahoma since 1989. He is currently employed as the Executive Director for a county trust authority that operates an adult jail facility and 911 services. His career has included serving as President of the Oklahoma Jail Administrator and Managers Associations and working as a college adjunct instructor. He is a two time recipient of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections courage and valor medal. He has served as an emergency response team commander. Martin has earned a B.A. degree and has a M.A. in Criminal Justice management and administration with honors from the University of Central Oklahoma. He currently hold advanced state law enforcement certification.

Shimika Johnson was named as a consultant to the firm in July 2001. Mrs. Johnson currently serves as a law enforcement officer and the Management of Informations Services for the county trust authority that operates an adult jail facility and 911 services. Her career achievements includes a stint as the Manager of Information Services for the Sheriff's Office and a jail supervisor. She is certified in computer science and responsible for implementing county government computer security procedures.
