It has been a long time since I updated my page but I feel I need to do this since there have been so many changes in my life. On March 12th I married my best friend. I also got my dream job working at the local newspaper here. I want to try and fill these pages with reflections of my new beginning and pictures of all my new adventures.

I accepted Christ as my personal saviour during a very dark period in my life. One day at church a friend of mine named Mr. Wilson quoted John 3:16 to me. At the time I was going through a very difficult custody battle. I was very disheartened over the fact that my ex-husband had gained custody of my son and daughter for a brief period. When I heard Mr. Wilson say, "For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son..." It gave me cold chills, finally I realized what an unselfish and loving act that truely was. I realized God really did love me..because I knew how hard it was for me to allow my son to go. I have been a born again christian ever since. That does not mean I am perfect. It means I strive every day to lead a life that pleases God. If you are not saved, please read the Sinner's Prayer below and invite Jesus into your heart. Remember God loves you and he will always be there for you. God never said that we wouldn't have problems he just promised to be there with us as we go through them.

Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner and am sorry for all the wrongs that I have done. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me and I invite you, Jesus, to come into my heart and life as Lord and Savior. I commit and trust my life to you. Please give me the want to be what you want me to be and the want to do what you want me to do. Thank you for dying for my sins, for your free pardon, for your gift of eternal life, and for hearing and answering my prayer. Amen. Therfore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; all things become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
