It is near Hokkaido University. The address is North 18, West 4. They don't only sell musical instruments, but also hold recitals and have music lesson for several instruments, such as violin, flute, piano, cello and harp. In addition, for a low price we can rent a sound proof room in which to practice. So we can call it "a comprehensive music store". But the reason that I often visit there is not to learn music and not to rent the sound proof room, but just to see a certain piano that is displayed on the first floor of the store. It is a "Steinway & Sons" brand, which is one of the most famous and exclusive piano makers. Probably many people who play the piano or have an interest in it, would wish to have a Steinway someday. That is, "Steinway's piano" is not just a musical instrument any more. It is a supreme object of art. You might be able to try to play it there. If you can do that, I'm positive that you would be enthralled by the tone of Steinway's piano.
