Cheap Places to eat around Hokudai

Taisho

They serve ramen and fried rice at reasonable prices, especially gakusei-ramen (student noodles) is maybe the most reasonable. We can eat them for just 350 yen and the quantity is good, but I can’t guarantee the taste. If you eat it and think it tastes nice, you might become crazy about it.

Kumamichan

“Kumamichan” is a yakinikuya which is a kind of Korean barbeque. We can eat as much yakiniku as we want within 90 minutes at only 680 yen. I think it’s too cheap, so I am worried about their profit. I hope that “Kumamichan” will last forever for the sake of poor and hungry students.

Mantenshokudo

I love this restaurant very much. We can eat ramen, butadon, oyakodon, gyudon and curry at very cheap prices and everything on the menu tastes so delicious. I really recommend you go here, but “Mantenshokudo” is a little far from Hokkaido University; at North 28 West 4. Still this is such a good restaurant.
