I approve of being barefoot because it is healthy for our feet. We often say that a foot is the second heart. It is good for the health to stimulate pressure point on your feet. Did everyone try to go barefoot? I walked around the faculty of engineering and it felt so good! However the band played. My feet became dirty and painful. Japanese people, of course including myself, must see a little environment. On the one hand barefoot has problem of season. I'm not inclined for it in winter, especially in Hokkaido. But, if and when we try Barefoot, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we must never wear shoes. We should begin by being part-time Barefooters!!

I don’t want to live in Antarctica. I don't think that I could live there because I am sensitive to the cold, and I don't like snow and winter very much. Certainly Antarctica has a lot of animals and special natural phenomenon. I'm interested in Antarctica and I wish I could go there just once. I have never seen penguins, whales and diamond dust. But it has many inconveniences, for example, not being able to go outside every time or play lots of sports. Of course we would not be able to walk barefoot! If we lost our way, we might freeze to death. Every day is survival! But I know some people often go to study geology, biology and environmental medicine. Especially environmental medicine is important. It is disruption of the ozone layer that is one of the problems in society. Antarctica has an ozone hole. Moreover it is spreading now. If its environment changed, it will effect the world. When I go traveling there sometime, I hope the world’s environment is safe!!

I would like to introduce one of my favourite bars. One of my English classmate's Ikuo and I like to go drinking. By the way, he is extra-ordinary! Ikuo can drink 10 liters and doesn't care what kind of alcohol it is. But my story deviates. When searching for good drinking spots, I finally came across a good cocktail bar! It's name is Blue Moon. It was recommended to me by my friend. After all is said, it is the taste that appeals to me!! The master, Mr. Watanabe, is able to make about two thousand different kinds of cocktails! It is a place where anybody and everybody can hail reposeful. In general the prices at bars are outrageous, and we students can't often go there. However Blue Moon has low prices. I shall tell you my traveling story. My hobby is fishing. Have you ever gone fishing or experienced something like it? I'm a student and I only go to university and return home everyday, and my life became drab! When I and my fishing companion went to Hakodate, I was able to angle for a big fish. We lost count of time, and angled. We  were refreshed by fishing as we felt we pass meaningful time. Hokkaido has beautiful places and a clear atmosphere. Let's feel relaxed!
