as follows: William 74 born SC (I think it was NC), Elizabeth (I think this is Lucinda) 50 born TN,
Jermiah 30 born TN, Washington 17 born TN, Virginia 15 born TN, Millisa 9 born TN, Jobe 5 born TN.
This was the last census for William, he died 1 October 1885.

1900 census Clay County Arkansas: lists Lucinda V. Clayton age 70,
widow, living with son Jermiah, age 51, single, born TN. Stated
Lucinda had 14 children with 9 living and she was born in TN.

1910 census Clay County Arkansas: lists Lucinda V. 81 year old
widow living with son Jermiah age 61, single, born TN. His father
was born NC, mother born TN, he was a farmer. Also that Lucinda had
14 children with 7 living. So 2 children had died since the 1900
census. Lucinda's father was born in Georgia, mother born Louisana.
Book of "Early Middle TN Marriages" listed Lucinda and William's
wedding date. It also gave her name as Lucinda V.O. J. McGee. They
were married in Lawrence County on 3 May 1848.

It is believed that Lucinda's mother Delilah Cutbirth McGee was the
granddaughter of Daniel Boone's sister, Sarah, who married Daniel
Cutbirth. (This info. located in the Cutbirth family file in Giles Co.
TN Public Library, Genealogy Section).

1920 Census Clay Co. Arkansas: Lucinda was not found in this
census. Jeremiah was found living with his brother Ritchard and
family at the age of 70. As noted above Jeremiah and Lucinda were
always together in previous census reports. So it is assumed
Lucinda died sometime between 1910 and 1920.

Co. TN. and also, why there were two Bradley children living with

7 September 1997: Conversation with Alma Clayton McIlvoy,
granddaughter of Stant Clayton, daughter of John Jefferson Clayton
and Anna Knopp Clayton: She gave me the names of her Grandpa
Clayton's children that she knew: John J. Clayton, Dove Moler, Joe
Clayton and Mary. She didn't think Mary ever married.

Also, that she was about 4 years old when her Grandpa Stant died,
she remembers she was not in school yet.

1910 Census Clay County Arkansas; Cache Twp. listed Judith F. with
her husband Joseph S. Clayton and son John. It stated she was age
64, had 11 children with 3 living. In the 1920 Greene County
Census, she was not listed, but Joseph S. was listed as a widow
living with his son John J. and family. So, Judith F. Clayton must
have died between 1910 and 1920.
