Health and Safety

At The Prairie Equine Inn we promote cleanliness and safety. We require that all horses entering the facility have their health papers checked prior to unloading. A negative Coggins test is required. All horses that are from different owners will be separated at all times. We ask that if you are exercising your horse that you stay at least 20 meters from any other horses that are not yours. As for hay and oats (or other specialty feeds) we understand that changing a horses feed can have ill effects especially when travelling so we ask you to provide your own. Although in some cases bringing your own feed may prove difficult so we will have hay and oats on hand ($4 per bale or bag of oats). If you need any other feeds please mention it to us when booking your trip. If you have a stallion or a high-strung horse, please contact us prior to arrival.
