I've never been nothing but trouble all my life
Just wondering here and there and causeing hardship for my wife
I pulled into town and playing around and got a cheep motel room
And as I lay there drinking a bud and smoking a joint or two
I heard her cry from the room next door and it chilled me to the bone
And the longer I lay there the longer I stay there the crying turned into mones
The whimpers keep me awake all night as my mind seen a vision of what was going on
And the very next day I met the two who had caused my sleepless night
It was'nt a man and woman or even a man and his wife
But a man and his daughter of twelve years old
What I heard couldn't be true
It tore at my soul and throbbed in my head as I didn't know what to do
While driving around the next day I seen her on the side of the road
As I picked her up I asked her what she was going to do
She said run away that she couldn't stay with the things that were going on
I said I knew and if she would stay things would be better soon
As the screems filled my room it didn't take long befor I knew I was goint to fight
I ran to my door and then to his door and then I turned on his light
I grabbed his hair and I felt no fear as I pulled him off of her
And I slit his throat Iike a damb old goat
With my O. J. Simpson knife
And I burried him there in a shallow grave in a ditch on the other side of town
And I knew it wouldn't be long untill the son of a bitch would be found
Now she has a brand new home and parents that treat her wright
And I know she will allways have a happy famile life
And here I sit like a son of a bitch not knowing what to do
Don't want to take a little walk
And couldn't if I wonted to
The judge said life plus twenty years
And thats with out parrole
So here I sit like a pile of shit
Just stinking up the hall
While I know all the time that I made the right call
Just six more months and I'll see my wife
In that private room down the hall
And I'll bet you a little trick
I want mind that at all
