The fever rises, burning all of me
Soft shadows of fear become
The monsters I run from
Lightning and thunder abound
I sit alone in the corner
Shaking, weeping, so terrified
Knowing the monsters will overtake me
Rip another hole into my fragile soul
And somewhere from the darkness
Your hand touches me
A cool caress on my scorching skin
The shadows begin to creep back
And the storm subsides...

May 20 I jump on a big ol' bird and fly to Japan to visit my friend Amanda. Oh, this will be fun! I promise to have a lot of pictures and maybe if I write something profound or interesting on the plane in my immense boredom, I'll share that too. But you can bet your life on the pictures...
Oh yeah, I went to South Korea in February 2003, and well, just haven't gotten around to putting anything up about it. I'm a slacker... get over it. I didn't take a lot of pictures, so you'll just get what I got. Don't bitch, I hadn't seen my husband in about 4 months and sightseeing was the last thing on my mind.
