09/24/06 I am 25 years old, originally from the St. Louis Metro East, and graduated with a degree from Oklahoma State University. In May of 2006, I got a promotion and transferred to North Carolina. I work for a great company as a Retail Analytics Program Manager, overseeing multiple programs in a chain of home improvement stores nationwide. There's always something new and exciting happening at work every day, so it never gets old!

The few months I have lived here have been great! This time period has been full of firsts for me. This is my first full-time job where I work out of a cubicle. I purchased my first appliances, my first car, and my first townhouse, which will finally be finished in February!

My goal in life is to manage a nonprofit animal rescue organization, whether it's an already established organization or one that I create. I believe that my business education and background, plus my passion for helping animals, would help me to effectively manage a shelter or adoption center. My volunteering is currently limited to maintaining a website for a shelter in northern Illinois, but they appreciate what little help I can give, so it's enough for now. I also have some ideas on businesses that I would like to start, so perhaps I can do that first and dedicate my retirement to helping animals. I don't know! There are so many possibilities!
