Our mission: The Cardiac Monitor Tech Association is a non profit organization founded in 1996 in Lawton, Oklahoma and recognized as the National Headquarters in 1999. Its goals are educational endeavors, support and camaraderie for cardiac monitor techs and cardiac care personnel (nurses, EKG techs, EMTs, etc.) in cardiac rhythm interpretation and cardiac care through meetings, workshops, seminars, and symposiums. The CMTA is also involved in raising awareness on cardiac care. Associate members' dues are $25.00 annually and entitles them to a membership card, pin, and certificate along with a quarterly newsletter (PQRST) and the opportunity to participate in the association's business settings and activities. Honorary membership is a title bestowed as an honor for monetary contributions of $125.00 (Platinum Heart, $150.00 (Bronze Heart), and $200.00 or more (Gold Heart).Thank you for your interest in the Cardiac Monitor Tech Association!
