Everything that went so right in The Exorcist goes disastrously wrong in Exorcist 2: The Heretic. Richard Burton once again scuttles his reputation as a Great Actor in the role of a heretical priest. Poor Linda Blair, now 18, is repossessed by the spirit of a demon called Pazuzu. The film hops, skips and jumps all over the world in search of a plot and at least a word or two of believable dialogue. Don't miss the climax, in which Linda Blair tap-dances her worries away. Saving Exorcist 2: The Heretic from being a total loss are some first-rate special effects. I don't even want to remeber this movie. Linda Blair should have never took the part. This movie killed THE EXORCIST for me. After I watched this movie I never wanted to see THE EXORCIST 3.
