Choosing the right day care for your child is a difficult decision. The most important thing is that both you and your child feel comfortable with your caregiver.

Background and Philosophy: I have background in Early Childhood Education, trained through a variety of courses and seminars. I have been providing childcare in various settings for the past 8 years with the past 3 focusing on family day care. My philosophy in what makes a wonderful warm environment is a family-like atmosphere. I have experience working with newborns on up to adolescents.
Early Learning and Support: A safe, loving space is provided in my home. It is important for children to be encouraged to grow in their own special way. Each child is treated as an individual, yet cooperation is as necessary here as it is in a family. I provide age-appropriate toys and equipment, not to mention opportunities for indoor and outdoor play. We have a flexible routine that gives the children in my care a sense of stability, yet allowing for changes in needs, moods, and interests. Positive behavior is nurtured through modeling, redirection, positive verbal messages and gentle discipline. The experience here can be described in three words: play, thought, and friendship.
Parental Support: Communication between myself and parents is an important part of the work I do. With our combined talents and resources, the children are given an even stronger foundation in life.
Meals and Snacks: I provide a wide variety of fruits and vegetables as part of the childrens' healthy lunch and snacks. Infants and those with special diets may bring meals with them if needed.
Please Inquire: For further information please call or email me. I will be happy to talk with you and answer any questions you may have.
I look forward to talking with you.
Sincerely,
Danielle
