Luke 14:7

HEAVEN
There is a place called Heaven somewhere beyond the blue;
A home for the bloodwashed who to the Lord are true.
'Tis a city that's built foursquare we're told;
Where the gates are of pearl and the streets of gold.

It's mansions are fashioned by the finger of God;
Dwelling places made for the heirs of God.
No need for the sun or moon by night;
For God's Holy Son will be the light.

No heartache, no pain, no tears dim the eyes;
For God our Father shall wipe them dry.
There'll be no sickness, no sorrow or sadness;
Only everlasting joy and peace and gladness.

The river of life will flow through there;
Where the saints all breath celestial air.
We'll abide in Jesus what joy without measure;
While we share with Him eternal treasure.

I've prepared my heart to dwell in splendor;
In that city of peace and joy and wonder.
in that city of peace and joy and wonder.
In this city Jesus my Saviour will be;
There I'll worship and praise Him eternally.

I'll cross over Jordan to Heaven's bright shore;
There I'll dwell in His presence for evermore.
Wonderful, glorious with Jesus I'll stay;
In a place called Heaven at the close of day.
